Restoration Support for Building 14 in Okhmatdyt Hospital

Way of Hearts Foundation continues to support the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Specialised Hospital – the largest children’s hospital in our country, whose specialists worktirelessly to save the lives of young Ukrainians.

In July 2024, a Russian missile strike completely destroyed the toxicology building and damaged four others. Hundreds of socially responsible businesses and active charitable foundations joinedin the restoration of Ukraine’s main children’s hospital. As promised, we did not stand idly by either.

How the foundation helped

Way of Hearts Foundation took part in the launch of the temporary building No. 14. The hospital needed a location where patients could be accommodated and necessary procedures carried out –until the main building was restored.

The Foundation funded the complete refurbishment of the third floor of the building, which included:

• Initial demolition work;
• Construction and fitting-out work within the premises (flooring, painting, plumbing, installation of a suspended ceiling);
• Electrical installation work.

Way of Hearts Foundation team was able to achieve its goal thanks to donations from members and the support of the Foundation’s partners. We are proud to be able to contribute to thenoble mission of the Okhmatdyt Hospital and look forward to continuing our fruitful cooperation.
